In order to build a solid math foundation, and thrive to master advanced math skills for
all levels of students, Apex Academy offers Singapore math classes, a new approach to developing in-depth mathematical understanding through:

The Singapore math method is a highly effective teaching approach originally
developed for Singapore public schools. The method instills a deep understanding of
mathematics, and has been widely adopted around the world and introduced to the U.S. since 1998. With the use of Singapore math programs, more students rank “Above NAEP Proficient” on U.S. national math assessments. With over 20 years of proven success, Singapore Math programs are rigorous!

Teacher Introduction

Ms. Julie

Ms. Julie is an experienced math teacher who loves math and desires to help students to achieve their goals in education. She has extensive experience and taught broad ranges of math classes including college math, high school math and as well as elementary school math for the past 16 years. With a Master’s degree in Math Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Ms. Julie incorporates fun math and challenging brain games to the curriculums. She wholeheartedly believes that math learning can be fun by fostering a creative learning environment. Ms. Julie is looking forward to encouraging all students to love math and achieve academic success in all levels.
